WANTED: Singer

Hey guys,

My band and I are looking for either a male or female vocalist for our metal/industrial band. We currently have two guitarists, a drummer and bassist and are looking for someone who can sing and wants to get involved with some original music.

Our influences include (but aren't limited to): Chevelle, Within Temptation, Ra, Rammstein, Breaking Benjamin, Ill Nino, Evanescence (earlier songs), Tool, and a LOT more.

Male with EXPERIENCE! 35 yo.

Prefer gigging band who is associated with an agent But will audition with any talented musicians. Like playing with people who have good attitudes and like to have fun.

Easy going guy with normal dayjob. Entertaining frontman (not carpet starer). Loud singer (think Purple meets Sabbath meets GnR meets Stevie Wright). Great scream repetoire (think David Lee Roth) but not a screamer if you know what I mean.

Can also play guitar (lead, backing etc) but prefer to focus on vocals.

Influences: Deep Purple, Van Halen, Doors, Led Zeppelin, Alice Cooper, Stone Temple Pilots, Guns & Roses, Free, Stevie Wright, Black Sabbath etc (a real rock singer with power, you get the idea).

Well the singer is way raw so what we thought would be quick and painless is more turning into a lesson on patience. THe plus is that he's enthusiastic and willing to do almost anything! We've got him into lessons and hopefully he settles into the band within the next few months!! THEN we'll see what it sounds like. We're thinking of recording our stuff instrumentally and updating our myspace though. I'll let you know how it goes!!
