Description:	Sundown and/or Last Stand (SAOLS) is the electro-acoustic musical construct of Melbourne based composer and producer Adam Hunt. Formed in 2003, SAOLS is a musical shape shifter whose form melds and transforms from the individual to the ensemble, from modest to ostentatious. Hunt’s works blend musical mediums in a framework that is driven by an interest in the rhythmic and aesthetic precision of electronic music, the melodic composition of classical music and the pure raw energy of punk. SAOLS have a strong focus on experimenting with the many intricate processes incorporated in making their music. An orchestral depth of sound is created utilising guitar, percussion and other numerous instruments and incorporating effects, loop mixing, layering and sampling. To capture the desired sounds Hunt often sources collaborators.
